Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche leads a long line of Cabinet secretaries and administration officials testifying on Capitol Hill on Tuesday. He’s bound to face quick questions on the $1.776 billion fund announced Monday to compensate allies of President Trump who claim to have been caught in investigations under the Biden administration.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, acting Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao are also on the Hill.
The battle between President Trump and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) will reach a fever pitch Tuesday, as Massie tries to buck a recent trend and hang on to his seat in what has become the most expensive House primary — ever.
Voters in a handful of other states, including Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania, will also head to the polls Tuesday. Here’s what to watch.
Vice President Vance will brief reporters at the White House at 1 p.m., and Trump is set to deliver remarks at the congressional picnic in the evening.
