The company that made its name with TV programs like “Mad Men,” “The Walking Dead,” Hell on Wheels” and “Breaking Bad” is breaking up with some of its old-school nomenclature.
AMC Networks is dropping the second half of its corporate moniker, and will re-title itself AMC Global Media, a reflection of the company’s growing focus on streaming media and international operations. The company reaches subscribers in more than 100 countries and territories around the world, with a presence in Iberia, Central Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America.
