Unsurprisingly, Adolescence leads the nominations for the 2026 BAFTA Television Awards, unveiled in London on Tuesday.

The smash-hit Netflix phenomenon earned 11 nods, followed by Disney+’s A Thousand Blows with seven, Andor and Trespasses with six apiece, and The Celebrity Traitors with five.

The Emmy-winning cast of Adolescence has continued to garner critical acclaim, with a best lead actor nod for creator-star Stephen Graham. He’ll go up against Colin Firth (Lockerbie: A Search for Truth), Ellis Howard (What It Feels Like For a Girl), James Nelson-Joyce (This City Is Ours), Matt Smith (The Death of Bunny Munro) and Taron Egerton (Smoke) at the May 10 ceremony, hosted by Taskmaster‘s Greg Davies.

In the leading actress category, Aimee Lou Wood is nominated for her turn in Film Club alongside Erin Doherty (A Thousand Blows), Jodie Whittaker (Toxic Town), Narges Rashidi (Prisoner 951), Sheridan Smith (I Fought the Law), and Sian Brooke (Blue Lights).

Best drama series nominations have gone to A Thousand Blows, Blue Lights, Code of Silence, and This City Is Ours, as Adolescence competes in the limited series category. In the international category, The Bear, The Diplomat, Pluribus, Severance, The Studio, and The White Lotus are set to vie for the BAFTA TV Award.

Also up for BAFTAs are first-time nominees Ashley Walters (Adolescence), Christine Tremarco (Adolescence), Fehinti Balogun (Down Cemetery Road), Owen Cooper (Adolescence), and Paddy Considine (MobLand).

This year’s BAFTA TV Awards with P&O Cruises will take place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in the British capital. The ceremony will air that same evening on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer. The BAFTA Television Craft Awards — nominations for which were also revealed Tuesday — will be handed out on Apr. 26.
