A year after the controversy unfolded, Armie was laying low and working as a timeshare salesperson in the Cayman Islands. He remained out of the spotlight for a while before slowly resurfacing in the public eye — and last year, he wrapped shooting the films Frontier Crucible, directed by Travis Mills, and Bone Tomahawk, produced by Dallas Sonnier.

In 2024, a source described the pair — who share a child together — as “emotional and impulsive,” while another insider told People earlier this year that they “haven’t been together in a real way for a long time now and whatever they had romantically is done.”
