DGA and Studios Reach Tentative Four-Year Labor Agreement

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have successfully reached a tentative agreement on a new four-year contract. This development follows nearly a month of negotiations aimed at addressing the evolving needs of directors, assistant directors, and production managers. The deal now awaits approval from the DGA’s national board before being presented to the union’s 19,500 members for a final ratification vote. The current contract is scheduled to expire on June 30.
