London-based sales outfit The Mise-En-Scène Company is launching international rights to “The Napa Boys,” an ensemble comedy, at the Cannes Film Market, with the acquisition struck through Sunset Rose Pictures, the production banner of producer Mike Rosenstein.
Co-written by and starring Armen Weitzman (“Veep”) and Nick Corirossi (“What We Do in the Shadows”) – Corirossi also directs – the film follows a group of friends led through wine country by a mysterious figure known only as “The Sommelier.” The sprawling cast includes Sarah Ramos (“The Bear”), Mike Mitchell (“Twisted Metal”), Chloe Cherry (“Euphoria”), Vanessa Chester (“Jurassic Park”), Paul Rust (“Love”), Jamar Neighbors (“Keanu”), Ivy Wolk (“Anora”), David Wain (“Wet Hot American Summer”), Ray Wise (“Twin Peaks”), Riki Lindhome (“Knives Out”), Natasha Leggero (“Another Period”), Beth Dover (“Orange Is the New Black”), Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (“Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back”), and DJ Qualls (“Road Trip”). Jerrod Carmichael serves as executive producer.
