Mike Myers's Red Carpet Look Shocks Fans, Draws Steve Martin Comparisons

If you’ve watched the recently released Michael Jackson biopic, you might be aware that Mike Myers makes a surprise cameo in it.

I say surprise because many viewers didn’t recognize the 62-year-old star as CBS Records president Walter Yetnikoff, with one Reddit user writing, “I saw him in the credits and couldn’t figure out who he played ’til now.”

“It’s pretty hard to recognize him in that makeup,” someone else wrote, while one more person echoed, “Wow, I didn’t even recognize him.”

Earlier this month, Mike — along with the rest of the Michael cast — attended Lionsgate’s Los Angeles premiere of the film at the Dolby Theatre.

And now, a viral video from the event has sparked a lot of discourse around Mike’s appearance, with several internet users suggesting that he looks totally different and speculating that he’s undergone cosmetic surgery.

To be clear, while people — including Triple Board-Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir — have speculated that Mike has had a facelift, the actor has not publicly commented on the subject.

“oh that face work has settttttled,” read one popular X post with over 2.4 million views, while another said, “Oh that face has been PULLED.”

Amid the discourse, many people admitted that they’d mistaken Mike for Steve Martin.

“Girl, I thought that was Steve Martin,” someone wrote, while another X user echoed, “Am I the only one who thought it was Steve Martin at first glance?”

All in all, many internet users agreed that Mike looks great.
