Pete Davidson's 'Gay Nazi' Jab Ignites Kanye West Feud

Kevin Hart wasn't the only person who caught some heat at his all-out, no jokes are off the table roast.

Last night, during Netflix's live stream of The Roast of Kevin Hart, Pete Davidson took the stage and he did NOT hold back with the irreverent burns.

During his time on stage, he got in the mandatory Kevin Hart jabs, of course. He joked, "What can you say about Kevin that hasn’t already been yelled out by a guy with Tourette’s at the BAFTAs?" This set the tone for his full set, so it was clear the man was choosing violence for the night.

But Pete literally made jaws drop when he unleashed on a few more pop culture figures without so much as a flinch.

He particularly unloaded on comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, known for roast comedy and Kill Tony, his live comedy podcast.

In 2024, Tony endorsed Donald Trump in a standup set during a controversial campaign event at Madison Square Garden, and apologized "to absolutely no one" for calling Puerto Rico "a floating island of garbage."

Pete came in hot from the start. "Tony Hinchcliffe’s here looking like both a child molester and the doll they give the child to show where he touched them," he said.

Pete then said: “Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, in that he’s definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat.” To that one, Pete got a scattering of boos from the unsettled crowd, as Kirk was shot and killed during a speech at Utah Valley University last September.

To the crowd's response, Pete rounded off with: "Oh, you don’t know me? Yeah. Yeah. Kill Tony! Please. Someone fucking kill Tony!," referencing Tony's podcast.

From there, Pete referenced his beef with Kanye West: "Tony, nothing you say tonight will hurt my feelings," he joked. "I was in a beef with Kanye, so I’ve taken shots from better gay Nazis."

Needless to say, Twitter was sheer madness with reactions to Pete's roast set:
"damn pete i wasn’t familiar with your game"

"Pete Davidson really woke up and chose maximum chaos for this roast"

Kanye hasn't yet responded to Pete's roast joke, but their feud runs deep. When Pete dated Kanye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian back in 2022, the rapper gave him the nickname "Skete," and even simulated attacking him in a music video.

In the same year, Kanye made anti-Semitic comments on social media, taking it as far as speaking about his admiration for Hitler.

Kanye's been on an ill-received apology tour, since January, when he issued a formal apology in the Wall Street Journal, blaming it on a “manic episode of psychotic, paranoid and impulsive behavior.”
