On the red carpet for the LA premiere of her upcoming film with Robert Pattinson, The Drama, Zendaya explained her decision to chop her famous long hair.

As she gears up to move on from longterm projects like Euphoria and Dune, she explains that all these changes were partially inspiration for the chop. "There’s so many roles that I had to come back to, and so much energy in the roles with my hair and attachment to it," Zendaya told Deadline.

"I’m able to gracefully kind of graduate from a certain chapter. And I’m very grateful for all of it, I wouldn’t be here without it, and I’m excited to see what’s next," she continued.

Zendaya's reign on 2026 is showing no signs of slowing down. The new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day just dropped, and left Marvel fans hyped. Dune: Part Three (alongside Timotheé Chalamet) and The Odyssey (which also stars Tom Holland) are due out later this year. On the TV front, we'll also say goodbye to Zendaya as Rue, when Euphoria ends later this year as well.
