SNL's Chloe Fineman Backlash, Pantsing Boy: Explained

People have been left horrified after Saturday Night Live star Chloe Fineman revealed the shocking reason why she was fired from her job at a summer camp.

Chloe, 37, candidly shared the story as she and her SNL castmates tested how well they know each other in a video for Vanity Fair, with Chloe going first by asking: “What job was I fired and later rehired by? Bonus: Why was I fired?”

She went on to clarify that she was 16 years old at the time, with Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, Jane Wickline, and James Austin Johnson speculating among themselves that it was likely for having a “bad attitude” during a restaurant or retail job.

However, this wasn’t the case at all. Turning around her card to reveal the answer, Chloe told her co-stars: “No, I was fired as a camp counselor…. I pantsed a boy.”

For reference, “pantsing” is the act of pulling down someone’s pants and sometimes underwear in public.
The other stars were visibly shocked by Chloe’s revelation, with Ashley gasping: “Oh, honey, I think you’re on a list somewhere.”

“He wasn’t wearing underpants,” Chloe continued. “And then a giant school bus drove by, and they were like: ‘You can’t…'”

She then tried to justify why she’d done this, telling the others: “He would lift my shirt all the time! It was Berkeley.”

Mikey asked: “How old was the child?” And when Chloe sheepishly admitted: “He was, like, 6,” Mikey whipped his head around in shock, while Ashley audibly exclaimed in horror and covered her mouth with the card she was holding.

“No, it was a different time,” Chloe insisted. “He would be like: ‘Hey, can I have a hug?’ And I go to hug him, and he’d, like, lift my shirt, like a dick. Then I was like: ‘I’m gonna get back at you!’ And so we were on a hike, and I was like: ‘Hey, Ollie, go look over there, it’s a hawk!’ And he looked, and then I yanked his pants down.”

“He wasn’t wearing underwear, his little ding-a-ling was out,” she went on. “And then these two twins were like: ‘Ollie, I didn’t know you didn’t wear underwear,' and then I was fired!”

Seemingly observing the shocked silence from her co-stars, Chloe quickly moved on to the next question without even addressing the fact that she was apparently “rehired” by the camp. Needless to say, those who have watched the clip online have been left just as appalled by her confession as the SNL cast.

One popular comment on a Reddit forum discussing the video reads: “i think the fact she didn’t say the age until she was explicitly asked and then tried to excuse it by saying ‘it was a different time’ said everything i needed to know about her.”
