“The Salt Path,” an acclaimed drama starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs, has set a theatrical rollout for the U.S. and Canada via Rialto Distribution International.
The film is coming off a successful box office run in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, where it has grossed over $15 million. Anderson and Isaacs play a couple at rock bottom after losing their home and grappling with a devastating diagnosis. Out of options, they embark on an extraordinary 1,000-kilometre walk along England’s rugged Southwest Coast Path. What unfolds is “a profoundly moving journey of love, resilience and rediscovery and the enduring strength of human connection,” per a synopsis.
