Barunson E&A/GDH 559
South Korean film studio Barunson E&A (“Parasite”) has come aboard “Inherit,” an upcoming horror feature from Thai production house GDH 559 (“How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies”), taking on international sales duties across North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa.
The partnership extends an existing working relationship between the two companies and introduces Barunson E&A to Banjong Pisanthanakun, a director with a string of major Thai genre hits to his name. His credits include “Shutter,” the comedy-horror phenomenon “Pee Mak” – which set the all-time local box office record in Thailand and became the first local title to draw more than ten million admissions – and “The Medium.”
