NASA officials are set to give their daily update on the historic Artemis II mission, as the four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft are on their way back to Earth.
The crew — Cmdr. Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch and Canadian Space Agency mission specialist Jeremy Hansen — are expected to splash down near San Diego on Friday. During the 10-day lunar flyby mission, the astronauts traveled farther into space than ever before.
The space agency also recently posted a Spotify playlist of the songs used to wake up the astronauts in space.
President Trump has also invited them to visit the White House.
The press conference is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
