Florence Pugh is to star in and produce “The Midnight Library,” the long-awaited film adaptation of Matt Haig’s bestselling novel.
Studiocanal and Blueprint Pictures — who first optioned the book in 2020 — have also attached Garth Davis (“Lion”) to direct the feature, from a screenplay by Olivier-winning Laura Wade (“Rivals,” “The Riot Club”) and Olivier and Tony nominee Nick Payne (“We Live in Time,” “The Sense of an Ending”).
