In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 4b, the colour bar labels “Last” and “First” were switched and have now been corrected so that “Last” is at the pink end and “First” is the blue end. In the third paragraph of the “Pre-reward encoding increases with learning” section, both callouts to Fig. 5 should have been to Fig. 3 and have now been corrected. These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
