Rapper T.I. and producer Drumma Boy have teamed up for the documentary short film “The Birth of Trap Music,” premiering at the Atlanta Film Festival on April 25.
The film, directed by Christopher Scholar, is a limited series documentary that, according to a release, “explores how the architects who created the genre captivated the entire world, forever influenced the way music was made, and became a movement that gave the forgotten voices a platform to be heard.” T.I. and Drumma Boy serve as executive producers and star alongside DJ Toomp, Don Cannon, Young Dro and many more.
