Young Frozen fans were sure in for an, uh, interesting conversation with their parents after a robot Olaf went "into the unknown" in front of a crowd of park goers on Monday.

If you haven't seen him before, earlier this month, an AI-powered, robot Olaf was unveiled at Disneyland Paris. The robot moves with almost uncannily spot-on mannerisms to film Olaf, and — per the Disney Parks Blog — "can speak and engage in conversations [with guests], creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience." You can watch him in-action here.

Listen, I'm a grown adult, but even I can admit it's kind of unsettling how darn realistic robot Olaf is. Like...that IS Olaf. Which is absolutely cool and all...except, y'know, on the off chance that something bad were to happen to him...especially in front of a group of children...who think they just saw the real Olaf die in front of their very eyes. No way that'd backfire at all, surely!

Well, spoiler alert, that is precisely what happened. In a video shared by @magictourclub that's amassed 31M+ views across Twitter and TikTok, Olaf can be seen interacting with the crowd in the "World of Frozen" park at Disneyland Paris, which literallllllly just opened in Disney Adventure World. All of a sudden, he freezes (hehehe, get it?), and you literally see the "life" drain from his eyes.

He then falls back with such force that his lil' carrot nose pops right off his face and rolls away, which was met with screams and gasps from the crowd.

As cast members quickly tended to the malfunctioning robot and carried him backstage, you can hear kids in the audience begin to cry. Disney...I sure hope you're ready to pay for years of therapy for all those kids!

RIP Olaf, yet another victim of the catastrophic effects of global warming 😔*
*Kidding, kidding! Per park goer @coasterclairee, Olaf is back up and running today.
