Since every episode of The Pitt’s second season (and all of Season 1, for that matter) has been an emotional Mount Everest peak, all signs have pointed to a gut-wrenching finale.

So many questions still needed to be answered: How would it handle the departure of Supriya Ganesh, who plays fan favorite, Dr. Samira Mohan? What's the fate of Baby Jane Doe? And would Dr. Robby leave on that self-destructive motorcycle sabbatical?

We'll have to wait for the third season of The Pitt (which starts shooting in June) for some of these answers, because the finale left us on quite a few cliffhangers, which has caused my own sort of personal breakdown.
