🚨 Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Season 3 of XO, Kitty 🚨
In great news for people who love rom-coms with a side of chaos (me), XO, Kitty finally returned for Season 3 last week.

While the series definitely stands on its own, it has also absolutely kept fans of the original To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy fed with reunion content throughout the years. As a reminder, Season 2 featured an appearance from the one and only Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) who came to visit Kitty all the way in Korea.

At the time, he and Lara Jean were still together, but more on that in just a moment...
There was also an important sisterly reunion during the Season 2 finale, when Kitty got some well needed support from her big sister Margot (Janel Parrish).

Way back in Season 1, we also got a glimpse at the girls' dad, Daniel Covey (John Corbett) and his wife Trina Rothschild (Sarayu Blue).
But if you're like me, you've probably been hoping for the day we'd get to see Lara Jean Song-Covey (Lana Condor) back on our screens — and it finally happened in a major way this season.

The news of this epic reunion was teased about a month before the season dropped, and fans everywhere (again, me) cried with excitement.
It wasn't just a quick appearance either, Lana Condor appears in three episodes this season, which means we got a whole lot of Lara Jean and Kitty content — and a major update in the TATBILBCU (To All the Boys I've Loved Before Cinematic Universe, of course).

In Episode 1, just as it finally seemed Kitty might go on tour for the summer with Min Ho, she got a call from Lara Jean that threw another wrench in their romantic plans.
Netflix
Don't worry, they still got a very cinematic kiss to sustain them through the summer...
Now here's where my To All the Boys-loving heart was broken. Lara Jean called Kitty because she and Peter were going through a rough patch, and she needed her sister's support. Kitty dutifully joined Lara Jean in NYC for the summer, where she spent a lot of time drying LJ's tears.
Netflix
Lara Jean is skeptical that she and Peter can stay together as their careers bring them to opposite sides of the country, but Kitty remains optimistic that someday Lara Jean will be such a famous author that she can work from anywhere.
Later in the season, the sisters' roles reverse again and Lara Jean flies to Korea to support Kitty after she and Min Ho break up, and to give her the push she needs to work on her NYU application. Kitty admits she hopes that she and Min Ho will still be endgame the way she "knows" Peter and Lara Jean are — and though Lara Jean does say she's still "single" in this episode, she says Peter plans to come to NYC so they can talk.
Netflix
This admission comes after Lara Jean picked up some "character socks" for Peter, which is a sweet callback to the third movie.
And it seems that Kitty's optimism does win out in the end! In the season finale, Lara Jean tells Kitty that she and Peter are officially trying to work on their relationship.
Netflix
And there you have it! Even though I was a little worried there at the beginning, it seems Lara Jean and Peter K. will be just fine.
