The Supreme Court on Wednesday will weigh President Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship.
The president is scheduled to be in the courtroom, making him the first sitting president to attend oral arguments. At least twice this week he has ripped into the 14th Amendment’s citizenship guarantee.
At 9 p.m. EDT, Trump will address the nation from the White House on the Iran conflict. On Tuesday, he said he expected that U.S. troops would exit the region in about “two weeks.”
On Capitol Hill, the Senate’s bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security is gaining favor with the president.
Meanwhile, a push to end the ongoing U.S. military operation in Iran is gaining steam with House lawmakers.
Trump on Wednesday will attend an Easter lunch after oral arguments.
