The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has confirmed it is actively reviewing sexual assault allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The probe centers on claims made by publicist Jonathan Hay, who reported incidents of sexual battery allegedly occurring in Los Angeles between 2020 and 2021. These accusations were initially filed with authorities in Florida last year and have since been transferred to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau for further evaluation.

Hay alleges that he was subjected to non-consensual sexual acts while working on music projects involving the estate of the late Notorious B.I.G. According to the report, the incidents involved both physical and sexual coercion. While Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence, this new development signals a potential expansion of his legal troubles. Prosecutors are currently weighing the evidence provided by investigators to determine whether formal criminal charges are warranted.

This investigation adds to an already overwhelming wave of legal challenges facing the disgraced mogul. Beyond this potential criminal case, Combs is currently the subject of approximately 70 civil lawsuits alleging various forms of misconduct, including sexual assault and drugging. While Combs has consistently denied all allegations, the involvement of the District Attorney’s Office suggests that the legal system is continuing to scrutinize his past conduct beyond the scope of his recent federal trial. The outcome of this review could significantly impact the trajectory of his ongoing legal battles and his long-term prospects for accountability.
