Russell T Davies’ award-winning drama “It’s a Sin” is set to be adapted as a dance by leading U.K. dance company Rambert.
Davies will exec produce the project alongside pop duo Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell. Rambert’s artistic director Benoit Swan Pouffer will choreograph and direct while Kaite O’Reilly (“The Almond and the Seahorse”) serves as dramaturg.
Set in the 10-year period between 1981 and 1991, “It’s a Sin” follows a group of young gay men and their friends in London as they are engulfed by the HIV/AIDS crisis.
