For those of you who aren’t already knee-deep in the Bravo universe, this is the cast of Summer House. The show is currently airing its 10th season and has endured years of friendship, work, and relationship drama among cast members.

But recently, rumors of a love triangle have surfaced, and if true, this would be one of the wildest scandals the show or network has ever seen. Let’s break it down.

Back in Season 8, newbies West Wilson and Jesse Solomon joined the Summer House cast. West and Ciara Miller, who started filming the show in its fifth season, immediately hit it off and began an on-and-off-screen flirtation turned situationship. This was a rollercoaster ride of a relationship for Ciara, who has spoken at length about her feelings for West, his inability to commit to her, how she felt abandoned by him, and her disappointment in the fallout of their breakup.

In both Seasons 9 and 10, Ciara has been vocal about her heartbreak over West and how upset she was at how he handled their breakup in public. This has also been a major topic of conversation for West, who has opened up on camera about his romantic relationship with Ciara.

The Ciara and West saga has been a major point of contention and discussion among Summer House fans and their fellow cast members. It’s no secret that the two of them have a complicated dynamic that’s rooted in flirtation and feelings.

Amongst Ciara’s supportive cast members and friends is Summer House veteran Amanda Batula. Amanda was introduced on the Bravo show’s first season as Kyle Cooke’s on-again-off-again hook-up. The two have been entangled for years, with their rocky relationship unfolding before our very eyes on TV. We’ve watched them hook up, fight, date, fight, get engaged, fight, get married, and fight some more. Now that we know they’re officially separated, fans are watching Amanda and Kyle’s relationship unravel for good on Season 10 of Summer House.

Not only was Amanda supportive of Ciara through her relationship with West, but Ciara has also been a loyal confidant right back to Amanda when it comes to her marriage to Kyle. In this season alone, we’re watching Ciara defend Amanda and be the voice of reason, encouraging her to advocate for herself and strive for authentic happiness, whether that means being with or without Kyle.

This brings us to what’s happening in the present day. While we’re watching Season 10 air, in which Ciara is supporting Amanda through the dissolution of her marriage to Kyle and everyone in the house is aware of Ciara and West’s complicated romantic history, there have been rumors about Amanda and West secretly hooking up and getting together.

Bravo fan accounts on social media and celebrity gossip sites started posting about these rumors at the end of February and beginning of March, saying that “trusted sources” sent them direct messages saying that West and Amanda started telling their friends they were hooking up. Deuxmoi specifically posted on March 5 about West and Amanda, saying they were, “openly flirty, allegedly even holding hands under the table” at an event in NYC.

Around that same time, Amanda also appeared on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast and spoke about her breakup with Kyle. That particular episode was recorded before Deuxmoi posted the rumors about her and West hooking up, so she doesn’t address them specifically, though she did say, “I’m not touching any of my cast members. Love them dearly, but I’m good."

Shortly after the rumors started circulating, Kyle was scheduled to appear on Bravo's nighttime talk show, Watch What Happens Live. When Andy Cohen asked him about the rumors, he said, “I don't think there's any merit to it."

"I think Ciara would probably have something to say, but if it made Amanda happy, I think I just would have to vote 'yay.'"

West also made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live after the rumors about him and Amanda were getting louder on the internet. Fans are convinced that his response was coy and unclear.
