Excited to watch “Project Hail Mary” from home? You’re going to have to wait a while. The film’s co-director, Christopher Miller, revealed in an X post that his blockbuster space adventure “won’t be on streaming anytime soon” as Amazon MGM extends the movie’s theatrical release. The only way to see Ryan Gosling and Rocky team up will be on the big screen for the foreseeable future.
“We announced yesterday that MGM is extending the exclusive theatrical window for ‘Project Hail Mary,’ so it won’t be on streaming anytime soon,” Miller announced. “This is a movie that needs to be seen on a big screen – and with a full return to IMAX screens for one week only starting this weekend, make plans to see it in a theater now! Bring friends and loved ones. It’s an experience to share with others.”
