ABC has renewed both its revival of “Scrubs” and the multi-cam comedy “Shifting Gears,” Variety has learned.
This will be the second season of the revival and the show’s 11th season overall. “Shifting Gears” will return for its third season after airing its second between October 2025 and February 2026.
In addition, Variety has learned that the comedy pilot “Do You Want Kids?” is not moving forward at the broadcaster. The pilot was co-created by Rachel Bloom and Dan Gregor, with Bloom also set to star. Bloom and Rory Scovel played a married couple who in one universe have a child and in another do not, with the show highlighting how that one decision impacts their lives.
