For more than four decades, Garcelle Beauvais has built a career as an award-winning actress, author, executive producer, TV host and, of course, a “Real Housewife,” but even if you’ve been following along from the beginning, you don’t know the whole story.

And Beauvais is ready to share it: on May 7, she will release her second memoir, “Protecting My Peace…at All Costs,” exclusively on Audible. Written and narrated by Beauvais, the Audible Original invites listeners into “the quiet awakening that guided her into her truth,” a synopsis explains, as the book “explores the transformative power of choosing yourself, including her decision to leave ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'” Beauvais announced her departure from the Bravo reality show last year, after five seasons.
