AMC+ and Shudder have revealed the trailer and key art for “The Terror: Devil in Silver,” the third installment in the horror anthology. The six-episode limited series will debut on May 7 on AMC+ and Shudden, with new episodes airing weekly. The series will then air on the AMC linear channel later this year.
From writers and showrunners Chris Cantwell and Victor LaValle (who is also the author of the book the season is based on), the forthcoming season will follow Pepper (played by Dan Stevens), a man who finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital. The hospital is “an institution filled with those society would rather forget,” per the official logline. “He must contend with patients working against him, doctors harboring grim secrets and perhaps even the Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.”
