If you are an avid Netflix dweller, you've probably seen Beef Season 2.

If you haven't, 🚨 WARNING 🚨: Spoilers ahead.

Similar to Season 1, this season follows a "beef" that is triggered by a moment of passion. This time, however, the beef is between two couples.

Netflix

Starring Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, Carey Mulligan, and Oscar Isaac, this season's ensemble really acted their pants off.

With all of these new characters to work with, they provided plentyyyy of cringe-worthy moments that were a hard watch.

(Before we start, just know that my Cringe Scale has no real rhyme or reason, just vibes.)

Let's begin with Ashley.

Netflix

Ashley starts as Austin's loving fiancée, wanting a higher status at the country club so they can afford to have a baby. But as time goes on, her oblivious privilege becomes painfully apparent.

1.

Not being subtle at all with her texting during the meeting

Netflix

That face, plus the phone clearly in hand, was a bold choice. At least turn off the vibration, come on!

Cringe Scale: 5/10

2.

The need for literally every refreshment on their flight

Netflix

Austin's side-eye says it all. Just take the damn peanuts.

Cringe Scale: 7/10

3.

Calling Josh a "Boomer"

Netflix

I think you might be a few generations off, babe. Also, this Gen Z "OK boomer" attitude in film and TV has got to stop. Sincerely, a Gen Z'er.

Cringe Scale: 8/10

4.

Her "I don't see color" moment 🤦🏻‍♀️

Netflix

This one actually physically pained me to watch.

Cringe Scale: 10/10

5.

Lastly, going full Karen mode on Eunice

Netflix

Asking Eunice to be removed from the flight while your two-timing fiancé is LITERALLY right there is wild behavior. Blame the man, girl!

Cringe Scale: 10/10

There are definitely more moments of hers that scream "Gen Z white girl ignorance," but I'll give her a break.

Austin isn't innocent either. His lack of knowledge around his own heritage, his inability to be direct, and his big heart that gets him in trouble all provide laughs with an equal amount of ick.

Netflix

Let's get into his himbo crimes.

6.

Deadass thinking Kim Jong Un is a member of BTS

Netflix

Okay, this one did make me giggle. But it's actually quite sad when you think about it.

Cringe Scale: 5/10

7.

Acting like he understands a single word that Sunisa Lee is saying

Netflix

Pretending to be a physical therapist was already idiotic, but doing so in front of a gymnast with an Olympic gold medal has got to be humbling.

Cringe Scale: 7/10

8.

Pretending to understand Korean during the most important moment EVER

Netflix

Not a thought behind those eyes as he wastes everyone's time.

Cringe Scale: 9/10

9.

Trying to kiss Eunice AFTER the whole Karen debacle

Netflix

In the middle of the aisle, too. Go back to your seat, sir.

Cringe Scale: 10/10

10.

Lastly, everything about Austin preparing his semen sample

Netflix

First of all, the way his butt cheek was just slightly out sent me. Second, the noises... 😬 And lastly, grow a backbone and tell her you don't want the baby, dude. IVF is expensive as hell, and you're treating it like a DIY science experiment.

Cringe Scale: 10/10

It's easy to call out the Gen Z couple for their ignorance. They're young. They're naive. But for the others, that's no excuse.

Let's do a little speed round.

11.

Ava having no clue what's going on... like ever

Netflix

Her inability to read a room is honestly endearing.

Cringe Scale: 2/10

12.

Lindsay flirting for plastic surgery

Netflix

The way she immediately blackmails him after this, too. I mean, I guess you go, girl.

Cringe Scale: 5/10

13.

Josh screaming at the top of his lungs at the WORST time

Netflix

This hurt so bad because he said it with such pure intention. Sigh.

Cringe Scale: 5/10

14.

Another Ava moment: Being unappreciative of the work that goes into the country club

Netflix

To be fair, she just found out Josh stole from the club. However, this moment makes it abundantly clear that she has always viewed Josh this way. Just some guy doing the bare minimum. Painfully out of touch.

Cringe Scale: 6/10

15.

Lastly, Troy thinking that Josh is sleeping with Ashley

Netflix

Ew. Now THIS is an "OK boomer" moment.

Cringe Scale: 8/10

All of these cringe-worthy offenses, whether it be through privilege, ignorance, or just straight-up awkwardness, are exactly why Beef is beloved by many. These deeply flawed yet compelling characters provide a complex, cross-cultural nuance that sticks with you long after the credits roll.
