Lantronix and Cherry & White Partner to Launch High-Speed Industrial Wi-Fi

Lantronix Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with UK-based internet service provider Cherry & White to develop a high-performance Wi-Fi platform. By integrating Lantronix’s NT-552 hardware with Cherry & White’s Rapid Wi-Fi technology, the companies aim to deliver connectivity speeds up to 70 times faster than existing legacy solutions. This joint venture is designed to provide robust, high-speed internet access in extreme environments where traditional infrastructure often fails.

The new platform will be offered in two primary configurations: a vehicle-mounted solution for fleet and emergency response units, and a portable, ruggedized "Peli" case version for field operations in harsh conditions. Beyond mere hardware, the collaboration leverages Lantronix’s Percepxion platform to provide remote administration and managed connectivity services. This structure is strategically designed to generate high-value, recurring revenue streams for both firms while expanding the commercial footprint of the NTC-552 product line within the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) sector.

This collaboration is significant as it addresses the growing demand for reliable 5G-ready connectivity in specialized industrial markets. By focusing on lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and rapid deployment, the partnership positions both companies to capture market share in sectors that require mission-critical communication.
